Accounts for younger users
If your students are under age 13 (or older if required by local law), they'll need to provide a parent's email address during signup. Unfortunately, they cannot use a teacher's email address instead. Users in certain locations must have their parent confirm their consent via a confirmation email before they can create and edit flashcard sets. Find out more about accounts for younger users.
Tips
To ensure a smooth experience, we encourage school administrators and teachers to ask their IT departments to allow students to receive emails from account@account.quizlet.com. This email address is for transactional emails only such as account confirmations, password resets and privacy policy updates.
Users are able to configure their email notification preferences from their settings page.
*To comply with local laws, we must collect accurate age information.
