Study with friends works with Flashcards, Learn, Test, Match, Blast, and Blocks. The set must be public to start a session. Friends can join using a link, and they don’t need an account to try it out.
How your info is shared
When you study together, your latest results are visible to everyone else in the same session. This includes your score and the terms you got right or missed. Other participants can see how your results compare to the group’s, and you can see theirs. No one outside the session can see your results.
Starting a Study with friends session
- Open a public flashcard set.
- Select Study with friends.
- Choose the study mode you want your group to complete.
- Share the link with your friends. You can copy it, send it in a group chat, share it as a QR code, or send it by email.
- Once others join and study, you’ll all see how your results compare on the group results screen.
Joining a session a friend sent you
- Open the link your friend shared.
- If you’re signed in, select Start studying to join.
- If you’re not signed in, you can complete one session without creating an account. After that, you’ll be asked to sign up to keep studying with friends.
- Study the flashcard set in the mode your friend chose. Once you’re done, you’ll see how you and the group did.
