If you identified yourself as a teacher when you signed up, you can start a game of Blast with any English set that has at least 6 terms and definitions.*
To start a game of Blast
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the set.
- Select Blast.
- Select Get Started.
- Choose which combination of prompts and answers you'd like players to see.
- Project your screen for your class to view.

Ask players to go to quizlet.live, enter the join code, and enter their names.
Players can also scan the QR code to join if they're using the Quizlet mobile app. - Select Create game.
- Select Start game.
Players are assigned to groups in Blast. If possible, ask players to sit with their group.
*Blast is currently unavailable in Canada and the United Kingdom. Blast is also unavailable for diagram sets.
Settings and options
You can adjust the speed of the asteroid, the number of choices, and the game duration in the Options menu.
You can only start a game of Blast from the Quizlet website—not within the app. Players can join and play from mobile devices.
