We prohibit all forms of cheating and academic dishonesty on our platform. Our Community Guidelines and Honor Code prohibit the posting of cheating material on our website and mobile apps.
Quizlet was founded with the goal of supporting better educational opportunities, habits and values for all learners. The misuse of our platform to develop bad habits like cheating or cutting corners on assignments or tests is disheartening to us. Our team works hard to uphold academic integrity and we're continuously adding features to ensure Quizlet is used properly.
If you’ve found quiz or exam answers, active test banks or any other material that can be used for cheating purposes, please report it so we can address it promptly.
Though test bank content makes up a small percentage of what’s uploaded to Quizlet, we understand and share the frustration of teachers who find their testing material posted publicly. We take these concerns very seriously. The leaking of confidential test banks is an issue that extends beyond Quizlet, and it’s important that we each do our part to prevent test content from being shared inappropriately, discourage users from posting it and support teachers and students in getting it removed as soon as possible.
We actively work to prevent cheating. We've made it easy for anyone to report this type of inappropriate content. Users have access to reporting tools and means to contact us from most pages on Quizlet. We prioritize responding to reports of cheating. Behind the scenes, we have tools to remove public access to multiple sets and send warnings or take other administrative action on offending set creators.
We’re always updating and improving our tools and learning from the reports we receive. We also strive to improve our systems to reduce the time it takes to review and remove material once it's been reported. We work closely with test and course content publishers to partner on tackling this shared issue, proactively and reactively. Building stronger, more comprehensive methods of addressing reported test banks and probable cheating content based on recognized question and answer formats is a top priority for our Trust and Safety team.
Our mission is to support and enhance learning by creating great tools that empower students to study and teachers to teach. Cheating is not learning, and we’ll continue to fight against this type of content and activity on our site.
