Assignments lets teachers assign study modes like Learn, Flashcards, Test, or Match from public sets as homework or classwork and track group-level progress.
Students can join with just a link or passcode, without needing to log in. Assignments are free from ads and study limits, making it easy for everyone to stay focused on learning.
How to create an Assignment
- Open the set.
- Select Assign activity.
- Choose the set you’d like to assign.
- Select the study mode you want students to complete.
- Pick a start and end date for the activity.
- Share the unique link and passcode with your students (you can also use the QR code option).
- Once you’ve created Assignments, you can see active and expired ones in the Activities tab in Your library.
Tracking activity progress
Teachers can track both individual student and overall class progress on assigned activities*. Teachers can see:
- Activity summary: provides an overview of the activity, including the start and end time, group averages, total students who have joined, and how many have started or completed the activity.
- Student summary: shows each student’s progress, including time spent, percent correct, and the number of terms they missed.
- Term progress: lists all terms and definitions in the set and displays the percent mastery for each term across the class.
- Student results: shows question-level detail, including whether each student answered each term and definition correctly.
*For privacy purposes, individual student progress is only available when an Assignment is active and for up to 10 days after it ends. Overall class progress is still available after this time period.
