Students can sign up for a free Quizlet account and use it to study any subject. Because each student controls their own account, it isn't currently possible for a teacher or school to create accounts for them. If your students are interested in using Quizlet, here's how they can get started.
How students can sign up with email
- Go to the Quizlet homepage and select Sign up.
- Enter the user's birthday.*
- Enter a secure password.
- Enter their email address.
Certain users may need to enter their parents' email address instead to help us comply with local laws. - Select Sign up.
If your students use Google Apps for Education or Gmail, they can also sign up using their Google account by selecting Sign up with Google.
Accounts for younger users
If your students are under age 13 (or older if required by local law), they'll need to provide a parent's email address during signup. Unfortunately, they cannot use a teacher's email address instead. Users in certain locations must have their parent confirm their consent via a confirmation email before they can create and edit flashcard sets. Find out more about accounts for younger users.
*To comply with local laws, we must collect accurate age information.
