Magic Notes transform your notes into flashcards and other personalized study materials with the click of a button. Just by uploading or pasting your notes into the creation tool, this AI-powered feature makes it easy to tap into the knowledge you create from your own class notes.
Magic Notes are available for Quizlet Plus and Quizlet Plus for teachers subscribers who are:
- 16 years or older in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States who are using Quizlet in English, French, or German
- 18 years or older in France and Germany who are using Quizlet in English, French, or German
If you’re not a Quizlet subscriber, you can try Magic Notes for free with limited access.
To create study materials with Magic Notes
- Log in to your account.
- Select Create.
- Select Magic Notes.
- Upload your notes by pasting them in, uploading a PDF or Microsoft Word document, or selecting them from your Google Drive.
- Select Start transforming.
- Start studying!

Settings and options
- Select
(Settings) to edit your notes’ title, change who can see your notes, or delete your notes.
- When you create Magic Notes, you can choose to make them visible to everyone or keep them private by selecting
- For study sets generated through Magic Notes, go to the set to change the set’s visibility.
Tips
- Find the Magic Notes you’ve created by going to your profile and selecting Notes, or by selecting Your library and Magic Notes.
- Take a shortcut to uploading your notes by going to the Magic Notes upload page.
